Renting from Vamos was very easy. It was our first time in Costa Rica. When we exited the airport, our driver was waiting for us - which, once you experience the crowds around the arrivals door, you'll realize is quite a relief. He took us to our rental car and drove us to the rental office just outside the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly, explaining all of the pertinent details and even giving us a good bargain on a GPS rental. (The fact that tires are not covered by the insurance is an inconvenient but necessary fact. Everyone on the Vamos team in your San Jose office was absolutely wonderful to work with! :) Tiziana, (who took my initial reservation) provided excellent customer service and was incredibly helpful, friendly and very responsive via email as we adjusted some details in my reservation. On a few occasions where Tiziana was off schedule, Max was also excellent about answering a few of my questions or requests. Alex, who delivered the car to my hotel, was impressively professional as we handled all of the paperwork, in addition to being incredibly patient and helpful as he helped me figure out how to get my GPS to work properly. In summary, I believe you have some very dedicated staff members, and the excellent customer service I received is what will make me choose Vamos for all of my future car rentals in Costa Rica! :)   The only minor thing I had some challenges with was the cellphone I rented for use while in CR. The phone would seem to shut itself off at random, and I could never get the code to check my voicemail to work properly. While in Costa Rica we went and saw some great things, it is a beautiful, clean country. After driving the roads around Mt Verde I do understand why it costs so much to rent a car!!
