The next step in General Motors' marketing campaign that leads to the reveal of the redesigned 2014 Chevrolet Corvette took place Thursday with the release holiday inn mission bay of a 47-second teaser video, titled "Conception."

The Corvette team has already said that the new Corvette will be powered by a new-generation small block V8 displacing 6.2 liters and cranking out at least 450 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. And that's the base engine.
The next teaser video in the series, titled "Calibration," is set to be released holiday inn mission bay in two weeks, on Nov. 29. Information about the new Corvette and the videos are being posted on the one13thirteen.com Web site.
