Education First Educational Homestay Programs is a non-profit organization that is welcoming over 400 international students to the Seattle Area from July 17to Aug. 5 and needs host families in Woodinville among other communitie.
Education First students historic inns for sale are 8-18 years old and are arriving from France, Spain, and China. The students will be busy Monday through Friday from approximately 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., attending English and American culture clases in the mornings and going on activities in the afternoons.
There is currently an urgent need to find homes before July 3 for the remaining students. "We are actively looking for families who wish to open their hearts and homes to any of our wonderful students and have the experience of a lifetime," wrote Blanca Costa of EF to Patch.
"We had a student for 3 days. My advice for their stay is to try not to overwhelm them with activities. They really just enjoy simple cultural things at home and with friends. [See] How we live normally," wrote Kathy Jean Brown on Woodinville Patch's Facebook page.
