With so many incredible hotels in Miami, there's always a reason to plan a trip back to Florida's flashiest city. And I've just added two more reasons to head to South Beach with the recent openings airline travel price of the Blue Moon Hotel , which has just been added to Marriott's Autograph Collection , and Winter Haven Hotel ,which will be added next month. The properties have been restored to put a spotlight on their historical value, but the interiors are sophisticated and modern.
On Collins Avenue, the Blue Moon mixes Mediterranean and Art Deco styles between two buildings and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 75 rooms are modern and sleek, with bright white linens, iPod docking stations and flat screen TVs.
And the Winter Haven Hotel, which dates to 1939, sits smack central on Ocean Drive and is definitely beckoning me hither with its gorgeous Martini Bar and restaurant that channels airline travel price mid-20th century sophistication. Girls trip, anyone?
