What ever your preference, they've got it. From Coors lite to Abby Tripple on tap. Don't know the count but it's like 50-75 brews on tap. and served with the proper glass for the style, and at the proper tempature. The servers are beer savy too. (With short skirts) If you are not sure about something, they very helpful. My wife ordered a brown ale, and didn't like it. No problem, server took it back and got her a wheat selection she did like. In the fall and spring, (Dead of summer is just too f'n hot) sitting on the roof patio is awesome. Looking over Sundance Square, and sipping a great ale is hard to beat. They play some great background music too. I recall hearing The Doors, LA Women on one visit that really got me rock'n.
Great selection of beers. Probibly the best place in Fort Worth to find dark ales. Very good location at Sundance Square and if You get tired of this place there are more great bars close by. Waitreses are not the frendliest, it's as if You are Bothering them for a beer but do love the school girl outfits. This would be My first stop because of convieniant parking and then Pub Crawl from there.
I've been to all the other Flying Saucers in Texas and this one is the best. I'm not sure why, but I think the old building it's in gives it the best old world ambiance. The others tend to feel more like sports bars. Try the Beer cheese soup in a bread bowl.
I had dinner and beers at the Flying Saucer last night with friends. The beer selection was very good, except for the fact that all of the Pale Ales and IPAs were listed paris cheap hotels on the menu under "Ambers", rather paris cheap hotels than "Pales" (?!?). paris cheap hotels And Monday night is $2.50 for most pints.
The food was good, what they had of it. However, the service paris cheap hotels was terrible. Ordered a side of ranch dressing and had to request it two more times after the food came. Ordered a soup, inquired about it 1/2 hour later, and got "we're out of that". Ordered tonic water and got club soda. When she finally paris cheap hotels came around again, "we're out of tonic water". We were out of lemons for a while, paris cheap hotels but later in the evening they magically appeared.
Best place in Sundance Square for a beer. Good music and Monday pint Nite is the best. The new open air balcony is very cool late at night and during the day when the weather is good. Great staff, very nice beer goddesses.
Great atmosphere and selection! The Monday pint specials and the Wednesday night featured beer and pint glass events were indeed popular. Just an all around fun place to hang out in downtown Fort Worth.
The Saucer has been my favorite Pub since moving to Fort Worth 2 years ago. The selection is always changing and always good. 76 on tap 150 plus varieties in bottles. I will soon be the second 3 plate person on the wall!
100's of beer on tap and in bottles. Decoration and name comes from the hundreds of plates on the wall. Join their club and keep track of different beers you have. After 200, your name gets put up on a gold-colored plate on the wall. Humidor and outside beer garden.
