Welcome to the forum, eastsider. I know there are posts about the east side. If Poly/TWU is consider

Hey I just found this forum and I have one question. Is the East Fort Worth ignored here too?? I can hardly find anything about my part of town. The last thing I read about the eastside was an article a month ago about Woodhaven...in the Dallas Morning News What up with that?
Welcome to the forum, eastsider. I know there are posts about the east side. If Poly/TWU is considered part of the east side, then there was a post less then three hours ago . I wouldn t say the east side ignored so much as under-represented. If it makes you feel better, there are other parts of the Fort that aren t addressed that frequently, either. A lot of the focus has been on downtown, the near south, the Cultural District, and all of that - probably because the more frequent posters have primarily been more focused in those areas. And, of course, many of the discussions apply to the whole city (gas drilling, for instance). aaa car rental There are members here who live in or grew up in east Fort Worth and they have talked about their experiences there. Now that you re here, post up. It s up to people aaa car rental like you who know what s going on in that part of town to keep us all informed.
I can t report on Eastside because I don t drive through there very often. There are also not a bunch of construction projects over there. I worked on a McDonalds on Meadowbrook and I-820 last year and I am happy to report aaa car rental that the construction is finished. I was suprised aaa car rental to see it was a combo McDonalds/Gas Station because aaa car rental I never really looked at the plans, just staked the building corners and pier locations that someone else had calc d. You got some construction info to add, restaurants to review or hot topics to discuss, I m all ears. This is a self-report aaa car rental website and we can t cover every neighborhood by ourselves so your insight is very welcome.
First, traditionally the East Side does not include Poly. That s Southeast. I have never liked the tag East Side any more than West Side because I think we should specifically state the neighborhood name. I hate that the media reports that something concerns or occured on the East Side . For the media, aaa car rental that could mean Poly, Meadowbrook, Sagimore Hill, Stop Six, White Lake Hills, Woodhaven, Eastern Hills, Handley, Ederville, Ryanwood, Carol Oaks, Cooke s Meadow, aaa car rental John T. White, aaa car rental Bentley Village or Eastchase. I grew up in Ryanwood aaa car rental (60 s) and the local media and Fort Worth politicos have always pandered to those areas west of downtown. Money doesn t talk, it swears.
AndyN, There may not be much in the way of commercial building but there has been a bunch of middle income residential building from Carol Oaks east to Eastchase and in the John T. White area in the past 5 years. When I was growing up, we heard predictions that east Ft. Worth would seamlessly connect someday with Arlington and that all our rural, wooded land would vanish. Thought that might occur in the 80 s until the real estate/S L bust. About to be reality in the next 20 years, aaa car rental sadly.
Here s some news/conversation aaa car rental starters for the East Side: 1) It appears there is a new hotel being built off of Anderson Blvd. between State National Insurance and CarMax. I don t know what brand, but if you check TADs records, one of the names that appears for the two lots in this location is very similar aaa car rental to executive with Pearl Real Estate Investments. A cross reference on the Forum reveals aaa car rental Pearls involvement in such projects as the Clarion, Embassy Suites and the Holiday Inn Express. It does not look like a large building foorprint, but is facing I-30. I could probably drive by and look for a sign, but that would be too easy. Even though this is a strange location for a hotel, it is only a couple exits from the new stadium. Ive always had issues staying in hotels situated only yards away from the freeway. Comments, clarifications and input would be appreciated 2) At the NE corner of Eastchase and I-30 a new WAMU bank is being built, in the empty lot between Lowes and the freeway. 3) At the SW intersection of Cookes Ln and I-30 you may have noticed that they have just completed clear-cutting aaa car rental many more acres of trees in order to build mini storage. It bothers me that no one at the City seems to stop clear cutting from taking place twice now on several acres of land between Sandy Ln and Cookes Ln. in the last two years for a strip mall that was never built and now storage? aaa car rental Some in the neighborhood associations have been vocal about this, but obviously it has fallen on deaf ears. Have Danny Scarth or Frank Moss given this matter any attention? 4) At the NW intersection of Sandy Ln and I-30 you will soon notice another drilling site. It is safe to assume that trees will be cleared for this operation as well.

Now that I think about it, I have done a few residential subdivisions over there. I suppose I was thinking more southeast than east (although the area referred to is still nebulous).

La Quinta Inn And Suites - East Fort Worth Address: 8201 Anderson Blvd Estimated Completion: 12/01/2008 FYI.... The Patel motel phenomenon, as it is popularly known, has made a major impact on the American hospitality industry. As many as 60% of mid-sized motels and hotel properties, all over the US, are owned by the people of Indian origin. Of this nearly one-third have the surname Patel - popular among Indian Guajaratis. The trend started in the early 1940 s, though the real growth took place in the 1960 s and 1970 s. (news.bbc.co.uk) Patidar (Gujarati , pa el, pronounced [p el]) is an Indian title, aaa car rental in tune with the Hindu caste system, that represents some of the castes that are predominant in the Indian state of Gujarat that are either agriculturalists or land owners. Beg pardon, but technically the East Side is everything east of Sycamore Creek. aaa car rental Polytechnic is very much part of the East Side. Always has been. Historically, Fort Worth has 5 sides separated by rivers aaa car rental and creeks -- north, east, west, south and Riverside. It has only been recently that people invented a southwest side or southeast aaa car rental side, simply because they don t want their neighborhoods called the south or east side.

I hope someone finishes this project before the Super Bowl, but I m wondering if humidity has infiltrated any porous surfaces that may already have been installed if that place wasn t dried in properly.

Looks like the La Quinta is not going to make it in time for the Super Bowl. The franchisee much be totally broke, I m guessing. That location is probably one of the top 10 or 15 name brand hotels nearest to the Stadium.
There s an impressive looking stone-clad office building being completed just north of I-30 at the intersection of Cooks Ln and John T White Rd. You can see the domed structures peeking above the tree line as you drive west on I-30 if you are looking northwest past the Carmax and Pantego Bible Church.
