This morning we noticed a big difference in the weather. It was sunny! Almost all day. And temperatures, although in the low 40s almost all day, crept up to 51 degrees by the time we arrived in Gettysburg. This morning, almost immediately, we also began noticing a difference in the lay of the land. It got hilly. That increased all day until we were driving through the Appalachian Mountains.
