My boyfriend and I stayed here a total of 3 days and 3 night, and LOVED every second of it. We built a fire in the fire put every night, relaxed on the hammock as the sun was setting, went fishing from the sea wall in the back yard, played ping pong and shuffle board, used the canoe that was provided and paddled around the gulf and saw a group of dolphins playing next to us, I took a very relaxing bath in the Jacuzzi tub witch had a flat screen tv so I could watch my shows . Also we brought paris apartment rentals food for us to eat, and there were more than enough kitchen utensils so we could cook comfortably like we were in our own home. We also slept in the upstairs bed room which has a great view of the gulf. All the rooms are spacious, it's a very cozy atmosphere and you just feel at home. We will be back here in te future for sure.
We spent New Years at the house and had a great time. Our family of six was well accommodated and comfortable. The location of the house right on the Gulf is amazing. We loved taking paris apartment rentals the canoe (or swimming) across the boat channel at low tide to collect shells and see some marine life up close. On our last day, we saw a lone dolphin slowly swim directly behind the house in the boat channel. The house is close enough to Orlando that we did a day trip to Universal. We also spent a day close by in Tarpon Springs where there are tons of tourist friendly shops, restaurants and even a cool little aquarium. All in all, the house was terrific, as advertised with no big surprises. Some of the other reviews mentioned the funky layout, but it was fine for us. Also, we knew we'd have to do some shopping for paper goods, paris apartment rentals etc; not a big deal, Publix is everywhere! The main thing that would have made it almost perfect would have been a heated pool. I would imagine that most of the time in the winter the pool is not useable.
would recommend having minimal paper products ( toilet paper,paper towels) in the house,also could only get 1 T.V. to change channels, 1 T.V. had only 1 channel, and the upstairs ones had no batteries in the remotes-
gone in the water but the boating channel is 10'ft away- not good-thought there was actually a beach on the water. Not a great place for kids-the pool has no guard around it and the stairs are not safe
Wonderful and fantastic just does not express how good it was. The only thing that was missing was the beach, but everything else made up for it. We even got to watch fireworks from our own backyard.

The house was spacious and clean with a wonderful view of the ocean from almost every room. Rogers Park and Weeki Wachee river is only minutes away where we went canoeing and saw dozens of manatees! What an amazing vacation my family will never forget!!! We will be back again :)
WOW! this house has everything...we hated to leave after two weeks of heaven..lots of space, very, very clean and comfortable, the view is fabulous..watched fish jump, saw dolphins, watched the shrimp boats come & go each day along with the pleasure boats...would definitely recommend this house..
Touchdown Beach House was a very nice house and Mary , the rental agent was VERY pleasant and accommodating .Shopping was only 5 min from house, We watched dolphins everyday , saw a couple stingrays caught some fish, and it was all in your backyard !! I didn't want to leave ! I highly recommend this house !! I would stay there again.
This was a wonderful vacation for us. This house has great views from every room! We totally enjoyed this house, the pool and the beach. The cannooing was great.We truly enjoyed paris apartment rentals watching the beautiful sunsets and seeing the dolphins playing in the Gulf right in front of us. This house has great views from EVERY room! We got to look out over the gulf the entire vacation. Great house, lots of space, pool, ocean, paris apartment rentals huge walk in shower, jet bath. We came in September and ended back here in October. Great house, great vacation, great value.
