On Wednesday, January 2 nd , most students were busy breaking their winter break sleeping habits or turning in assignments completed at the last minute. Members of the Theatre Academy and students jobs at hilton hotels in Ms. Lowe's art classes, on the other hand, took a trip to Manhattan for a day of dabbling in the arts.
Theatre students watched a matinee production of "Grace," a naturalistic play about a devout young couple struggling to make a new life in Florida.  Steve and Sara have big plans to open a chain of gospel-themed motels, but have had financial difficulty. Despite their troubles, however, they remain faithful that God will give them what they need to fulfill their dreams.
The couple meets their new neighbor Sam, a rather cranky young man who was recently injured in a car accident that killed his fiancée. Sam and Sara develop a rather strong, intense relationship, muddling Sara's relationship with her husband. Steve's beliefs are challenged by an atheist exterminator, and in the end he must decide whether his faith is enough to help him pull through and achieve his goals.
Starring Paul Rudd, Michael Shannon, Ed Asner, and Kate Arrington, jobs at hilton hotels the intensely emotional play had an enormous impact on the students watching; several were in tears by the end of the first scene, and very few were not by the end of the show.
After the play, the students and chaperones experienced a wonderful opportunity: they were permitted to stay in the theater for a Q and A session with the four stars. Aspiring actors asked them questions pertaining to the rehearsal process of the show, their acting training, other jobs, and much more.
Freshman jobs at hilton hotels Aaron Latta-Morisette, a huge fan of Paul Rudd's, was ecstatic. "Paul's performance stood out to me the most because I'm so used to seeing him do comedy, and while the play was funny, it was also really dramatic," he said.
Aaron later said that were he to spend a day with one of the stars, it would definitely be Rudd because he is a huge role model to him. In later discussions in class, students agreed that simply watching jobs at hilton hotels the show, from the actors performances to the technical aspect of a simplistic set, was an incredible acting lesson in and of itself.
