We were traveling to Ohio from Wisconsin and needed to break the trip up so we decided to stop in Indiana. We stopped in Merrillville, Indiana which is only about 30 minutes past the Indiana/Illinois border. We wanted a good meal and a nice hotel for the evening. inexpensive hotel in london Whenever we stop while traveling we like to use this time for fun and relaxation as if an extension of our vacation. We were lucky to find all of the above in one location at the  Radisson Hotel Merrillville inexpensive hotel in london at Star Plaza right off I-65.
It was located right off the highway in a very busy area filled with lots of restaurants and shopping. The lobby featured a beautiful garden atrium and a small waterfall that made you feel you were somewhere tropical. The front desk clerk was very accommodating and even honored our request to be near the pool area on the first floor. The only issue was there was no bellman on duty and we needed to take care of our own luggage.
The room we stayed in was a standard room with two queen size beds. The room was situated on the walkway in front the pool area which was very nice. The pool was a standard rectangle shaped pool with steps entering the shallow area. There was a whirlpool near the pool that was very inviting. Also in this area was a gaming area that included ping pong tables and air hockey. The kids loved this area.
After settling in the room we decided to get a bite to eat. We headed back to the lobby area to ask what they recommended. We explained we wanted something inexpensive hotel in london casual and relaxing yet fun. To our surprise we discovered we could order room service to be delivered poolside. We immediately headed back to the room to change into shorts and swimsuits. We all ordered burgers which were good if overpriced, but worth it to be eating poolside and allowing the younger kids to run around inexpensive hotel in london from sitting in the car for so many hours.
