We were lucky to have the opportunity to spend the weekend at The Crockett Hotel . The hotel a historic hotel and stands where Davy Crockett and group of Texas settlers defended the southeast palisade of the Alamo during a 13-day siege in 1836. I loved the history behind the area and the history in the building!
The hotel is located just steps from the Alamo and the RiverCenter mall. Both are just across the street depending on the direction you walk. The mall was wonderful because there is easy access to the Riverwalk from it! The view from room was the gorgeous Alamo! Talk about history!
We stayed in a suite at the Crockett Hotel and it was the best thing for my family. I hadn t given it too much thought before our trip, but a suite is perfect when travelling with a toddler! Having a mini refrigerator helped to keep milk cold for him.
