TLC orders additional episodes, specials for Honey Boo Boo Banijay acquires Chilean reality format O




The first special, Travel Like a President , debuts on October 2 and will reveal the painstaking logistics needed to shepherd the President of the United States on assorted trips, and the efforts needed to coordinate tour of ancient egypt hotel bookings (as many as 200 rooms may need to be booked on a typical trip), tour of ancient egypt flights (two jumbo 747s, two passenger jets, five helicopters and charter flights for the press) and other preparations. The special will be hosted by NBC News correspondent Peter Alexander.
We are excited about the Travel Like… umbrella series as we will have the opportunity to explore and share many unique travel experiences from a fresh and unexpected perspective, said Travel Channel general manager Andy Singer.
Travel Like a President is produced by Peacock Productions for Travel Channel. For Peacock Productions, the senior producer is Loren Michelman and the producer is Mark Marabella. The exec producer for Travel Channel is Julie Rose McCully.
