Besides Bellagio, I really enjoyed the town of Varenna, which is right across the lake. It has lots

Our first stop on our Northern Italy tour was Lago di Como. Although we did not have a George Clooney cheapest airline ticket to japan sighting as we had hoped, we still felt like celebrities waking up to this view every morning. We arrived in Bellagio at almost midnight, after a full day of traveling by plane and then a train and then ferry to get to Bellagio. It was absolutely amazing when we woke up the next morning, opened cheapest airline ticket to japan our shutters and realized just how stunning the lake really is. We stayed cheapest airline ticket to japan in a very picturesque cheapest airline ticket to japan family cheapest airline ticket to japan owned B B called cheapest airline ticket to japan Il Perlo Panorama  that was on the top of the hill overlooking Bellagio. It had simple and clean rooms with balconies that look out at the lake. The breakfast was great, and the family that runs the hotel is incredibly hospitable as well. Although we had to take a taxi to and from town, I almost preferred it because our view was so much better than if we were by the water.
You can easily do Lake Como in 2-3 days. If you wanted to stay for longer, I would suggest renting a boat and going hiking in the mountains surrounding the lake. Wandering in and out of the villages that are accessible by water ferry and exploring the winding cobblestone alleys in each of the villages makes a nice start to the day each day of your visit. If you are staying in the central lake area, you can buy a day pass for unlimited use of the ferry system for about 15 euro.
I would also recommend picking a few of the waterside Villas to tour. We toured the gardens at the  Villa Melzi  and were amazed by how gigantic so many of the trees and plants were and how perfectly kept and manicured cheapest airline ticket to japan the lawn was. The Villa Melzi and is still occupied by a family today that allows guests to roam the gardens.
Besides Bellagio, I really enjoyed the town of Varenna, which is right across the lake. It has lots of maze-like side streets and alleys that are fun to wander cheapest airline ticket to japan in and out of residential and shopping areas for several hours and see some unique vantage points of the lake. We also visited the town of Menaggio, but I was a little less impressed with it in comparison to Varenna and Bellagio.
Lake Como is fairly cheapest airline ticket to japan easy to access cheapest airline ticket to japan by train from Milan. Make sure to schedule in enough time to make a ferry if the town you are visiting is not accessible by train. We used Milan as our base point during our entire trip and went in and out of the Milano Centrale station 5 or 6 times throughout. The Italian rail system can be a bit tricky to figure out, so make sure to ask someone if you need to change trains anywhere each time you purchase a ticket.
