It sounds like you are referring to the Alilaguna line as your transport to the hotel from the airport. This is a private company, they do not run the vaporetto vancouver island kayaking tours system which is public transport. I believe you can buy a vaporetto pass at the airport which will let you take a land bus to P.Roma and then a vaporetto from there to the Lido but if you want to use alilaguna then I would assume you need to pay for this separately. I'm not sure there is a 5 day pass, it used to be 3 or 7 days but that may have changed now.
We stayed at villa laguna a couple of years ago and had a lovely time. Have you considered getting a speed boat water taxi straight to Lido from the airport. It may be a bit more expensive than the vapereto but fast transfer and good fun. Plenty available when we were there, no need to prebook.
Buy the norma vaporetta pass for 3 or 5 days. Take the bus from outside vancouver island kayaking tours the Terminal to P. Roma and then the vaporetta to Lido. The ticket is extremely good value. We used it to go all the way around Venice one morning including Murano. You can get a route map for the vaporetta from the internet.
Then presuming you are staying one or two nights vancouver island kayaking tours on the Lido - purchase a 24,36 or 48 hour ACTV Water bus Ticket - The 36 Hour ticket is 23 Euros and covers journey to from Venice and surrounding island, also the land service also on the Lido. This is valid from time or purchase and can be bought at Lido SM.
Note: The different water bus service companies do a different route path. IE if you go across to Venice Island on ACTV you would have to change waterbus to get to the Cruise Terminal. Hence your need to get the Alilaguna service.
We stayed in a hotel in Mestre on the mainland and found that ACTV waterbus tickets also covered the bus service to and from the mainland and Piazzale Roma and by good luck there was a bus stop just outside the hotel. It was about a 10min journey and buses ran every 5/7mins.
The ACTV passes will cover Mestre and Venice, including the Lido and Islands, only on its own services. This year the basic pass does not cover the trip to or from Marco Polo airport. This has to be added or purchased separately, 5 euro each way.
The ACTV Pass is great once you have reached Venice. You could in effect use it also to reach the Cruise Terminal But it would mean two journeys (ie a switch over of boat) in order to get to the cruise terminal as they do not have a direct route. vancouver island kayaking tours Hence why I will buy an ACTV pass to last me until the evening of our last night on the Lido then purchase the Green Line Aliliguna to take us directly to the ship.
