Only if it does have the mentioned safety features in place would I consider it...like enough lifebo

Australian billionaire Clive Palmer decided to capitalize on that wave of interest by announcing his plans to have a Chinese shipyard build a working replica of the ill-fated discount car rentals ocean liner, retrofitted with modern technology and safety features.
Although the ship is in the early planning stages and lives only on paper for the moment, progress is being made as the scheduled late 2016 maiden voyage approaches. The ship will recreate the unfinished discount car rentals trip of the White Star Line's original Titanic from England to New York.
Even though Palmer appears to be making progress, cruise industry professionals have their doubts whether his dream to build the Titanic 2 will ever be realized. Trying to preserve the design and feel of the 100 year old ship in a new ocean liner equipped with modern amenities may prove to be a large iceberg discount car rentals to climb.

Clive Palmer is from Queensland Australia and is a businessman and owner of the mining company, Mineralogy. Mr. Palmer discount car rentals was recently rated one of the wealthiest businessman in Australia with a net worth of several billion dollars, mostly accumulated from his early interests in real estate and his recent activity in the mining industry.
In recent years, Mr. Palmer has also become involved in the tourism industry. He currently has the Coolum Resort and Robina Woods and Colonial golf courses as part of his portfolio. discount car rentals All are located in Palmer's homeland of Australia.
After many months of preliminary work behind the scenes, Mr. Palmer dove into the cruise industry by announcing the creation of a new company, Blue Star Line, and his intent to build a replica of the Titanic. discount car rentals In April 2012, he had already signed a preliminary agreement with Chinese shipyard CSC Jinling to build the ship. The name Blue Star Line was, of course, a nod to the company who owned the original Titanic, White Star Line.
Several media releases followed in the coming months, each providing more information about Mr. Palmer's plans. He has indicated that the new Titanic 2 would be a tribute to the spirit discount car rentals of the men and women who worked on the original and would retain the look and feel of the original. With each media release, skepticism from cruise industry experts grew louder...
Palmer plans to make the Titanic 2 the same dimensions as the original but with upgrades and adjustments inside the hull. That would mean Titanic 2 would be roughly 882 feet long, 92 feet wide and 175 feet high. The original Titanic had accommodations for 2,600 passengers and displaced 46,000 tons.
In 2016, if Titanic 2 is built to the same specifications, the roles would be reversed and it would be dwarfed by it's competition... and by a wide margin. The largest cruise ship to date, Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas, sailed on it's maiden voyage in 2011. It is almost 1,200 feet long, 213 feet wide, carries 6,400 people discount car rentals and has a displacement of 225,000 discount car rentals tons.
Granted Palmer's customers would be those more likely to sail on smaller, high-end cruise ships and not the super ocean liners like Allure of the Seas , but cruise industry experts still question whether the new Titanic discount car rentals 2 will be able to sustain itself in today's very competitive luxury cruise market after the initial appeal wears off... and wouldn't it be slightly awkward discount car rentals seeing the mighty discount car rentals Titanic 2 dwarfed by another cruise discount car rentals ship docked next to it in port ?
In one of it's subsequent media releases in July 2012, Blue Star Line announced they had hired Finnish company Deltamarin, an international ship design and engineering company, to assist with the plans for Titanic 2 and oversee construction. Deltamarin is no stranger to luxury cruise ships with their work on Celebrity Cruises' Celebrity Solstice and Royal Caribbean's Oasis of the Seas.
Preliminary plans revealed discount car rentals the same 9 decks as the original Titanic, with an extra safety deck inserted between decks C and D to house lifeboats, discount car rentals safety chutes and new common areas. The ship will have the same four red funnels discount car rentals although Palmer discount car rentals has said they are no longer needed with the modern propulsion discount car rentals the new ship will have. Instead, plans are to have the funnels house common areas including lounges and a theater.
More controversy surfaced when the media release went on to say that the preliminary deck plans would depict the original separation between first, second and third class . The 1992 James Cameron movie clearly demonstrated the original Titanic's separation of classes and its issues. Continuing that aspect in today's day and age might be disturbing to some.
Rumors also have indicated that staterooms will have early 20th century costumes for new Titanic 2 guests to gain the full Titanic experience. The rooms may also include information about the guests who stayed in that stateroom on the original ship and whether they survived or perished in the north Atlantic when the original Titanic sank on April 15, 1912. Only if it does have the mentioned safety features in place would I consider it...like enough lifeboats for example:-) But I've also heard that there are plans like this in the works. Really detailed coverage here, have to come back and read more when I have more time. *blessed*
After learning a little about Clive Palmer's ideas and plans for Titanic 2, you probably fit into one of two categories... either you are somewhat intrigued because you think it would honor the memory discount car rentals of those who lost their lives on the original... OR... you think it's a bad idea to build a ship designed after the original with such a tragic history.

I'm quite confident the new one will be seaworthy. My concern discount car rentals is that after the initial "honor" wears off, it would just be a novelty and would actually end up NOT honoring the memory of the 1000+ lost 100 years ago.
They have four stately ocean liners discount car rentals cruising the coasts of the United States, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe and cater to families, children, teens and adults alike offering discount car rentals activities on board for everyone.
I read about the first attempt to recreate Titanic back in the late 90's. They ran into so many code issues that they had to scrap the project. Does China have lower regulations to allow this to be built? I also don't like the idea of a ship being accompanied to the East Coast by the Chinese Navy. The whole thing rubs me the wrong way. Great lens though, I must say! :)
Interesting subject for a lens. If I were a billionaire, I don't think I would invest money into something that smacks of a gimmick; I'd want to put it to better, more relevant use. I'm not sure how I feel about the whole thing.
This is going to go over like a lead balloon. Who is going to be willing to pay for storage class? Can they have enough paying passenger density to justify the ship? This is one of the worst ideas I have heard in a long time.
Experience James Cameron's Titanic in all it's digital glory with this 4-disc set available only from Amazon.com. You get a two-disc blu-ray 3D copy of the movie, a conventional discount car rentals blu-ray copy and a digital discount car rentals copy to enjoy.
