With the Summer holidays just around the corner (In Europe at least) I thought I might put some information out there for all of our Nannies and Maternity Nurses in our cities, London, Paris and Dubai, for some free and some paid holiday activities for either yourselves, or you and the children if you are working free usa travel guides throughout the summer!

Covent Garden's Piazza Every afternoon you can find street performers of all varieties entertaining huge crowds. The performers love to get the audience involved This would be a great way to entertain the kids and maybe even get them involved!
Paris Plage (Paris Beach) This is a Summer Special Activity. It has been in operation since 2002 and is an annual fee event which sees several spot throughout Paris transformed into Beaches each with a distinctive theme. Have a look along the Seine for the sand and umbrellas! Open from July 20 to August 19 from 8.00am to midnight

Al Bastakiya This is a historic district in Dubai. Together with Al Shindagha, Al Bastakiya is one of the oldest residential areas. Al Bastakiya is named after the Bastak region of Iran, from where many of the Itanies residents immigrated to Dubai. The locality lies along Dubai Creek and includes narrow lanes and wind towers, as well as the Al Fqhidi Fort, the oldest existing building in Dubai. A walk around this area would be amazing.
Changing of the Guard Who doesn t love the Royal Family! No visit to London is complete without watching the guards changing and it s definitely not an excuse to miss even if you are a permanent resident! A sunny summer s day could see you watching the Guards change and the heading to either Green Park or St James Park for a picnic with the children or other fellow Nannies. The ceremony takes place daily throughout Summer at 11.30am and lasts 45 minutes including music!
Open Air Cinema, free usa travel guides Parc de la Villette Located in the North of Paris, Parc de la Villette showcases films out in the open! Most of the films are generally free and there is usually 1 movie shown per night over the month long period. For the movie list consult their website . The program is only downloadable in French.
The Jumeirah Mosque - The Jumeirah Mosque is a dominant landmark of Dubai city. Considered to be one of the most attractive mosques in Dubai, the Sheikh Mohammed Centre for Cultural Understanding organizes visits to the Jumeirah Mosque for non-Muslims, aimed at promoting cultural understanding and first-hand experience as an insight to the Islamic religion. No prior booking is needed. You will have to assemble at the rear of the mosque at 10.00am on Thursday s. Ladies need to be covered - long skirts/trousers, long sleeves, hat/scarf for the head. Gentlemen need to wear trousers - Tshirt or shirt and not a vest. You need to take off your shoes before entering the mosque .
