Milaine McGoldrick said she and her husband were collectors, and he assembled a virtual museum of boats and vintage boat parts. Before they built their cabin on the river, they used a historic hotels in san felipe mexico Northern Pacific Railway caboose for sleeping and cooking. The caboose was moved to the property in 1970.
McGoldrick served on the boards of St. Luke's Memorial Hospital, Spokane Good Roads Association, Spokane hotels in san felipe mexico Taxpayers Association and Spokane Unlimited Inc. He was a director for Old National Bank and Lincoln First Federal Savings and Loan.
McGoldrick is survived by his children, Molly Beck and her husband, Barry Provarse, of Woodinville, Wash., and Mikki McGoldrick and her husband, John Rovtar, of Spokane; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

If not mistaken Mr McGoldrick also had a home once on Lake CDA at Twin Beaches.He was one of Spokanes most admired and respected business/family men who loved the City it s people and helped shape its future.He was a fixture in past wooden boat(which he loved) shows on the lake.A true gentleman.My condolences to his family.RIP Jim. It truly is the end of an era. One of the things that was so wonderful about Jim McGoldrick Jim Crick was that they greeted you by name and always had time to engage you in a conversation and were honestly interested in how you were doing. They many of their contemporaries were blessed with integrity and lived life honorably. The only fault I ever noticed was their constant ability to beat you at gin. Jim was a wonderful man first and a great guy always. We will all miss him. Mike Nicholson
