The 2010 YOG will be the first Youth Olympic Games. The Games are the first new event to be introduced to by the International Olympic Committee in more than 80 years. More than 3,500 athletes from 205 countries will compete in the 26 traditional summer Olympic sports, with a few slight variations.
All tickets are general admission. A ticket is required for each person entering the venue, even if they are a small child. Infants and children will not be admitted without a ticket. Tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis. Ticket prices range from S$10-S$30 per session. There are no ticket discounts. Where to Purchase YOG Tickets
Online purchase. To purchase the tickets online, visit the Singapore 2010 Tickets website. Purchase by phone. There are 29 authorized ticket counters throughout Singapore, three in Malaysia and three in Indonesia. Remaining tickets can be purchased at the box office on the day of the event at the event venue.
Tickets for the YOG must be paid for with a VISA credit card or with cash. Once the tickets have been paid for in full, they can be sent to the recipient via registered mail or they can be picked up at the authorized ticket counters.
Those who cannot attend the 2010 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Singapore should time travel books not worry too much.
