Over a year ago I wrote about the travesty done to a young professional gay couple from Norfolk by employees of United/Continental Airlines at George Bush Intercontinental Airport in Houston, Texas. Employees removed a sex toy from the couple's luggage, taped it to the top of the bag, and sent it down the baggage carousel.

The theories for recovery against United/Continental include intentional infliction of emotional distress, invasion of privacy, and negligence. Both compensatory damages and exemplary damages are being sought.
