What is the cheapest way to travel Europe for 6 months? What is the best time to travel to Europe co

I am planning on travelling to Europe next year. We are going to be flying into Barcelona, but would like to possibly see some of London or maybe Paris while there. I have seen a lot about travel from London to Barcelona but am wondering if anyone has any info on travelling from Barcelona to London or Paris. We are comfortable flying or going by rail.
- Sorry about my two cents, but Paris and London are very easily seen together. Many flights can be arranged to go into one city and out of the other. They are connected by high speed rail and are a mere 2.5 hours apart.
- If you are starting from Barcelona you are facing a long trip by rail to Paris or an annoying and expensive flight. Whereas you are connected by high speed rail to Madrid, Toledo, Segovia, and Bilbao and Pamplona. You can also go to Granada and Seville. Why waste so much travel time going to a different part of Europe if you miss so many incredible sights in Spain.
My opinion not withstanding, the Train Hotel Joan Miró leaves Barcelona at 9:00 PM and arrives in Paris at 9:00 AM (12 hour journey). The return trip is 8:24 AM to 8:32 PM. There is no high speed rail through the Pyrenees for a few more years. References :
Cheap flights from Barcelona to London are available with Ryanair.com. I ve used them nine times to various Spanish airports with no problems,and no delays,but take your own food and drink to avoid paying stupid prices on board (chicken sandwich-£3.50!).The same applies to Easyjet cheap used rental cars or any of the other budget airlines.The flights to look at are from Barcelona( Girona),inland from Barcelona,and Barcelona( Rheus),west of Barcelona on the coast,(both have fast connections from Barcelona) cheap used rental cars flying to London(Luton) or London(Stanstead),both around cheap used rental cars 30 miles from London,but with frequent cheap used rental cars and fast connections cheap used rental cars into the city.(30-40 minutes by rail,80 minutes by coach) Luton is where I m from. I ve labelled the airports as they appear on Ryanair s booking site. Use the previous/next day buttons to find dates with the cheapest flights. You can sometimes find flights for 1 cent plus tax,and £12 plus tax is quite common. The best deal from London to Paris is with Eurostar from London St.Pancras to Paris Gare du Nord via the Channel Tunnel in 2 hours for £30 each way standard fare,and you see some countryside on the way. Very nice it is too,and quite comfortable. That time is from city center to city center and so is faster than flying,and this makes it perfectly feasable to do a day trip to Paris(or several).
